Helping Our Neighbors, in Hoboken and Beyond

With Open Arms: A Refugee Benefit Concert: Sunday, November 2 and again on Sunday, November 9. Both performances are at 4:00 p.m.

These concerts feature a variety of (mostly) local musicians and musical ensembles, offering a diverse program to raise awareness of the services offered to our refugee communities. Aiko Mauldin's students, the Hudson School Songsters and the PROS will be performing. The All Saints Episcopal Parish Choir and the All Saints Handbell Choir will perform at the November 9 concert. The concert is co-sponsored by the Cantigas Women’s Choir and the Refugee Support Committee of the United Synagogue of Hoboken. All benefits will go to two local non-profit organizations: Welcome Home Jersey City (an organization that offers many services to our recently arrived neighbors) and The Lighthouse (a temporary residence for asylees).

Dear Families,

Thank you so much for your support in Sunday School this school year. We wrapped up the last class this past Sunday, and I cannot be more grateful for the teachers who volunteered their time and gifts for our children.

Please join me in thanking our Sunday School teachers for this year: Emily Hayes, Kaysha Hinds, Kevin Johnson, Lori Lawrence, Jenna Madden, and Thane Rhen. Thank you for showering our children with your knowledge, faith, and passion for learning and growing together. I’d also like to thank the Sunday School volunteers; whether it is helping with a class or with special events, we could not do this without you: Emily Hayes, Mary Hosford, Jenna Madden, Addie Mauldin, Laura Moore, Alexandra Redding, Hannah Long, Ace Longden and Kayla Pansy. And as always, a special thanks to our Parish Administrator, Laura Moore, for her work in making the curriculum available to all of us.

Peace,
Aiko Mauldin
