FAQs

  • While All Saints does not have designated parking, you will find plenty of 2 & 4 hour metered parking spots which may be used by residents outside of Hoboken. These spots are free on Sundays! Parking is .25 cents for 15 minutes 9 a.m. - 9 p.m on all other days. You may pay through coin or credit card; the ParkMobile app makes it easy for you to pay for parking without having to run back to feed the meter.

  • Our square mile city is accessible by ferry, train, light rail, and bus. We encourage you to research schedules based on your preferred mode of transport. Two popular options are:

The PATH train—running from NYC as well as Jersey City and Newark—stops in southern Hoboken. The station is no more than a 15 minute walk from All Saints Episcopal Parish.

New Jersey Transit bus lines 126, 89, and 22 all stop directly in front of the church (heading north). Heading south, these buses pick up passengers along Washington at both 8th and 6th Street.

  • We are located at the corner of 7th and Washington Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. Our main entrance is through the red doors which face Washington Street. Our office is accessed through the red doors on 7th Street.

  • We hope to one day create a space that is better suited for people of all abilities, but we are currently working with the constraints of a historical building and need to raise funds for renovation upgrades.

Because there are two steep steps up to our main entrance, the best point of entry for those with strollers or wheelchairs is through the side door, which may be accessed via the alleyway between the church and the day school. Regretfully, the parish bathroom is not ADA compliant. Opposite to the church’s side entrance is a doorway to the day school; bathrooms in these facilities are also not fully ADA compliant, but they do not require steps and are more accessible than the parish restroom. The school is open during services.

  • You do not have to be Episcopalian to attend. Perhaps you have no faith tradition at all but are simply curious. Everyone is welcome to explore big questions about church. We are a community of people who are at various places in life’s journey as well as belief.

  • Absolutely! While the 9:00 a.m. service is geared toward children and families, children are welcome at all our services.

  • Yes! All Saints welcomes and affirms LGBTQIA+ persons in the fullness of who God created them to be (and supports same-sex weddings). Find us via gaychurch.org.

  • At All Saints, all are welcome at God's table no matter where you are in your walk with Christ. It is our belief that baptism is full initiation into the Church regardless of what denomination performed that baptism. Even newly baptized babies are invited to receive a bit of bread or a drop of wine. Questions about this may be directed to the rector.

  • When the congregation is invited to receive, an usher will guide you, or you may simply follow the others seated nearby. You may receive bread and then sip wine from a common cup or ask that a bit of bread be dipped (intincted) in the wine. If you prefer to receive only bread or only wine, know that the full grace of the Eucharist is present. You may also come forward with your hands folded across your chest to receive a blessing from the priest.
